Dr. Nancy Mannion has over 40 years of experience as a leader and educator in nursing care and hospital operations. She is the author of numerous articles on clinical practice, emergency department operations and nursing leadership in peer reviewed journals, and a contributing author to several textbooks.

She has extensive experience in association leadership, having served on numerous boards including the Emergency Nurses Association, the Academy of Emergency Nursing, the Emergency Nurses Association Foundation Board of Trustees and the Journal of Emergency Nursing. Currently, Nancy is Chair of the Nurses on Boards Coalition, promoting nurses to influence the health of communities through service on boards.
